On what would’ve been Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday, Janet Jackson paid tribute to her late great brother in a funny new Instagram skit inspired by MJ’s 1992 music video “Remember The Time.”
The legend collaborated with Instagram comedians Kwaylon “BlameItOnKway” Rogers, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor and director Diamond Batiste for the short video. Jackson reportedly met Rogers this year at the Billboard Music Awards and Rogers suggested the idea.
Jackson posted a caption along with the video on Instagram, writing, “Had so much fun with these guys.”
In the clip, Jackson plays the queen passing judgment on dancers who just can’t quite cut it, recreating the role played by supermodel Iman in the original classic video, which also starred Eddie Murphy and Magic Johnson.
The clip follows the release of Janet’s latest single and music video “Made for Now” featuring Daddy Yankee.
