Anthony Hamilton has returned with a powerful message in his latest video, “Love Conquers All.” The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter belts about the perils and progress of freedom fighting and everyday survival for black people in America.
In the opening scene of the video Hamilton walks ahead of a throng of protesters and sings,
“How can we break the cycles?…
Nothing ever changes, but we still march.”
In a recent interview with Essence, Hamilton spoke on using his platform, voice, and music to raise awareness for social justice causes like criminal justice reform, gun control, and police brutality.
