The Nationally Syndicated Baka Boyz and Industry Aficionado Rick Aaron Unite

Los Angeles, CA. February 4, 2013: The nationally syndicated Eric and Nick V of the Baka Boyz Radio, music industry aficionado Rick Aaron along with David Harned Sr. & David Harned Jr. of Orange County Productions have joined forces to produce a nation-wide concert series consisting of 55 markets, with stops in local arenas in cities throughout the U.S., including Albuquerque, NM; Kansas City, MO; Salt Lake City, UT; Reno, NV and Lake Havasu, AZ with more dates to be announced. The Baka Boyz are heard in syndication in all 55 of the concert markets and the duo will be on-hand to host the majority of shows.

OC Productions recently celebrated the launch of series with the “The Winter Takeover Turn Up!” held in December 2012 at The Robobank Theater in Bakersfield, California. “The night was electric!” says J. Reed, the night’s local sponsor and Program Director of Hot 94.1 “The Baka Boyz and Rick Aaron put together a great lineup and had the crowd on their feet all night!” The event featured many of today’s premiere Hip-Hop artists, including Young Money recording artist Tyga, Epic recording artist Cash Out, DJ and Bay Area recording artist Love Rance, producer Polow da Don’s protégés W3 The Future, Universal Republic recording artist Clyde Carson, and Brick Squad Entertainment’s Joe Moses.

Music industry veteran Rick Aaron of Aaron Entertainment, who recently merged with O.C. Productions, is the visionary behind this concert series. Aaron reveals, “Our first event was amazing and to great response.  We look forward to getting this tour on the road. They artist are chosen  based on broad market appeal and recognition, radio success, strong fan following and of course the 'it' factor. And the artists we’ve signed on are topping playlists around the U.S.; especially in the respective markets where they are performing. We are also elated to introduce several young, up and coming artists. These concerts are a perfect marketing tool to help break new artists. This is an exciting time for ventures such as ours, especially in a concert promotion environment being dominated by conglomerates.”

Nick V. of the Baka Boys concludes that "We are very happy about the success of the first concert date, and we look forward to the upcoming shows. This is an incredible opportunity for Eric and me to continue expanding our national brand that we have established with our Pop and Hip-Hop radio mixshows. Our program directors are extremely excited that we will be bringing top notch and new talent to our affiliate cities. With Rick and O.C., the sky is the limit! Stay tuned!"

The next concert in conjunction with Q104.7 is set for Memorial Day in Lake Havasu. A surprise line-up from Interscope Records will be announced closer to the actual concert date. Tickets will start at $39.50 and will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster. www.ticketmaster.com
