SOLEDAD O’BRIEN ACCUSES CNN OF GIVING ‘RACISTS’ AIRTIME TO SCORE HIGHER RATINGS

Noted journalist, documentarian, and T.V anchor Soledad O’Brien, recently had some choice words for her former employer, CNN. O’Brien lit into the network on Sunday for using their platform to give airtime to “racists” and “white supremacists.” According to O’Brien, this is a ploy from CNN in an effort to boost the viewership of the news network.
In a response to Oliver Willis critique of CNN, O’ Brien’s response was right to the point. She said, “They give a platform and their credibility to racists/white supremacists/ all in the name of ‘hearing them out,’ (which is a ratings ploy btw).”
