Randomly, I was listening to some tracks from the debut album of Rhymefest, Brand New, and just casually wondering what he’s been up to. I guess his ears were burning, because he recently shared his lates offering “Creator.”
The track is the latest focus track from his forthcoming project James & Nikki, slated to drop on the ninth day of Black History Month (or, Feb. 9 for those not following), which he described as an “audio conversation” inspired by Nikki Giovanni and James Baldwin’s 1971 London interview.
