Protesters Chant Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” In Response To Police Pepper Spraying Crowd (VIDEO)

Police harassment leads to crowd singing Kendrick Lamar's "Alright"

"Today after the ending of the convening as everyone was walking down the street CPD arrested a 14 yr old. While everyone was demanding his release an officer pepper sprayed the crowd and further escalated the situation. In unity and solidarity everyone was demanding that he be released, and we stayed and protested until they released him!"

According to AllHipHop:

Participants at the “Black Lives Matter” conference in Cleveland began chanting the chorus to the album single “Alright” after police detained a 14-year-old boy for alleged public intoxication. According to reports, the event ended on Sunday with police officers pepper spraying attendees. The 14 year old was taken into custody by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority after allegedly being discovered drunk on a city bus. Other officers as well as protesters from the nearby conference arrived at the location, and the situation escalated. Authorities say protesters attempted to block a squad car with the teen from exiting which led to Sgt. Robert Schwab to administer pepper spray into the crowd.

Spotlight on Sapphira Cristál

“After Hours” is a fierce, high-fashion house anthem that drips with attitude, seduction, and runway energy. Opening with a spoken-word moment in a commanding deep voice reminiscent of Kevin Aviance or Right Said Fred, the track transforms into a dancefloor sermon of power and pleasure. With thumping beats, sultry vocals, and lines that shimmer with confidence (Steppin’ out in a 613 ... my look so puss, so clean’), Sapphira Cristál delivers a declaration of glamour and groove. Already building…See More
