Pharoahe Monch has been busy lately. Ambrosia For Heads recently caught up with the Queens MC last month during J. Period’s “live mixtape” show that Monch did with a slew of Hip-Hop legends, including Rakim, Black Thought, Dres, and others. He’s also wrapping up a new solo LP he describes as his “hardest” and “darkest” work to date.
Monch has also been on other artist’s work as well. Most recently, he was a guest MC on saxophonist Marcus Strickland’s latest single from his upcoming album. Joined by Bilal on the hook and acclaimed journalist/wordsmith Greg Tate, who also spits some bars, Pharoahe presents some of his trademark metaphorical knowledge on the song, which takes it in a whole new direction.
