Earlier this month, the Jedi Mind Tricks’ Vinnie Paz released his seventh solo album. Twenty-five years to the month after The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological & Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness, the Italian-born, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania raised MC maintains his place among the most consistent voices in hardcore Hip-Hop. An alum of the underground boom, Vinnie has become a DIY mainstay with a prolific output. His latest LP, Tortured in the Name of God’s Unconditional Love, features M.O.P., Camp Lo’s Geechi Suede, Kurupt, Ras Kass, Ill Bill, Lord Goat (fka Goretex), Thirstin Howl The 3rd, and others. Also available on CD and cassette, the Iron Tusk Music LP also features a noteworthy collaboration with Method Man, “Invisible Ether.”
