Logic has withdrawn his previous announcement of retirement, promoted upcoming album College Park with a 2-minute animated visual.
Logic is taking himself out of retirement with upcoming album College Park. On Tuesday (January 10), the Maryland native dropped a 2-minute animated clip reminiscent of Adult Swim classic The Boondocks to promote College Park, starting with the rapper preparing for a show at “The House of Sound.” At the beginning of the video, Logic’s new track “Insipio” is played before him and his crew encounter a convenience store robbery.
Later, the Vinyl Days emcee appears on a radio show before its revealed that the animation takes place in 2011, the same year that his second mixtape, Young Sinatra, was released. The College Park trailer also teases the album’s guest list, including RZA, Redman, Joey Bada$$, Norah Jones, and Seth MacFarlane, creator of Family Guy, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show.
