Whodini has finally gotten the chance to smell their flowers. The legendary Hip-Hop trio was honored with the Hip Hop Icon Award at the 3rd Annual Black Music Honors which aired this past weekend on national broadcast syndication.
The tribute was sanctioned in pure nostalgia as fellow icons in rhyme Doug E. Fresh, Yo-Yo, and Monie Love joined to perform Whodini’s classic hits. While the “Friends” collective is known to be a trio, only two members were present, Jalil Hutchins and John Fletcher best known as Ecstasy.
