Keith Murray seems to be up to something. The Def Squad MC has released a few freestyles in 2018. With DJ Gumba beside him, Keith did a rendition of Eric B. & Rakim’s “I Ain’t No Joke.” After tackling one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved 1980s records, Murray and Gumba go to an early ’90s scorcher, Cypress Hill’s “How I Could Just Kill A Man.”

Over one of DJ Muggs’ greatest beats, Keith tries his hand at the Soul Assassins’ style. He rocks the “Spanglish” vocal approach well, and gives multiple shout outs to Muggs, B-Real, and Sen Dog. The Central Islip, New York MC sounds spirited in the cover, in the love of the art.
