Rapper, on-air personality, and face of the antagonists of Hip-Hop’s new generation, Joe Budden, has a history of offending the fresh faces of today’s rap game.
Whether it’s from his bold statements, like when he said Lil Yachty “ruining the culture” and “shouldn’t be accepted,” or his bad vibe, which nearly caused a melee with the Migos at the 2017 BET Awards, the old head advocate rapper from New Jersey, just doesn’t like this ear of Hip-Hop.
His latest hot take came on his new episode of the Joe Budden Podcast. On episode 200, at the 1:31:00 mark, Joe Budden beings his opinion.
“What happened this year combined with what happens next year, the wave is about to wipe a lot of y’all out of the way in 2020.”
He continued, “A lot of the current standing (rappers) that we look at right this second, today, that’s hot, thriving, rocking, whether it’s going to be from bad business decisions or lack of output.”
Budden wasn’t too bold with his statement because he wasn’t specific on the rappers who he thought would be “wiped out,” he just indicated with his general statement of saying a lot of today’s hottest rappers.
