According to Newsweek, sales of the headline-making book are not as strong as expected.

During the recent press run, Pinkett Smith dropped several bombshells; most surprising was the reveal that she and Will have been separated since 2016. She also claims Tupac proposed to her, and Chris Rock once asked her out on a date. The memoir also touches on the infamous Oscars slap at the Academy Awards in 2022.

“I thought, ‘This is a skit,’ ” Pinkett Smith said of the moment when Will Smith smacked Chris Rock on stage after the comedian cracked a joke about Jada’s bald head, People reports. “I was like, ‘There’s no way that Will hit him. It wasn’t until Will started to walk back to his chair that I even realized it wasn’t a skit.”

When they were alone after the show, Jada asked Will, “Are you okay? ”
