Ghostface Killah is set to become the next member of the Wu-Tang Clan to publish the story of his life, as the group’s history continues to be chronicled.
The 53-year-old has revealed plans to release his memoir next year, on May 14. Rise Of A Killah, described as a “visual record and a real-feel narrative of a performer’s life” per a new press release, will be published by Macmillan in 2024.
The book will add to the Clan’s growing catalogue of literature. In 2018, U-God put out Raw: My Journey Into the Wu-Tang Clan, which saw the veteran MC reflecting on his place in the group, among other things. Three years later, in 2021, Raekwon dropped From Staircase to Stage: The Story of Raekwon and the Wu-Tang Clan, adding yet another angle to the saga. This is in addition to several books by RZA, including The Wu-Tang Manual.
