Flatbush Zombies member Erick the Architect is putting the finishing touches of his forthcoming solo debut EP, I’ve Never Been Here Before. Slated to arrive on Feb. 23, the project will feature contributions from James Blake, Baby Rose, and Joey Bada$$, Westside Boogie, Channel Tres, and others.

Speaking of “others,” living legend George Clinton joins the talent on his latest focus track “Ezekiel’s Wheel.” “’Ezekiel’s Wheel’ speaks on my initial discovery of being both a fan of music and the desire to become a musician,” Erick says. “The song felt psychedelic, and who better but George Clinton to compliment that musical space.”
