BIO:

Terrance Jones, better known as GPM Prince J,was raised by a single mother, survival was the only thing he lived by. Due to his father being murdered during a home invasion when  Prince J was in the 1st grade,he was left to define his manhood on his own. His mother pursued a career in law enforcement and eventually became a Sheriff. She married his stepfather Dale Warren, a famous orchestra player who was signed to Motown. Unfortunately, his relationship with his stepfather was short lived and he died when Prince J was 12 years old. Although he was just a kid, he possesses memories of being at the studio with his stepfather.  Normality to him was growing up around musical geniuses like Chaka Khan, Isaac Hayes and Jagged Edge. Being around the greats influenced him to want to hunt his passion through music. He realized his aptitude to express his life through lyrics and ignited his journey of musical creation. He recorded his first record then on a karaoke machine.

With a destination of becoming a hustler embedded in his DNA, He ignited his legacy as a boss before becoming a teenager. He landed his first $100,000 play in the streets and never looked back. Savoring the limited time that he did have a father figure, Prince J had to adjust to moving solo.  Without delay, acquired experience on how to regulate the streets of  “Eastside Atlanta”. Relentlessly he resided in the streets and caught a gun charge at the age of 14. Forced by the courts to make a choice between going to prison or military school, Prince J possessed the key to his future. His entrance into maturity led him to a positive change that would impact him for the rest of his life. He made the decision to go to the Youth Challenge Military School located on the Fort Stewart base.  It was there he obtained his high school diploma at the age of 16. He continued his educational path and received his associate in Dentistry at the United Education Institute and his bachelor’s in film from Full Sail University.

In 2017 during a robbery at his home, he utilized his right to own a gun and fatally shot the robber. Blessed by grace, he bypassed the encounter of being in prison and began his journey in entrepreneurship. With an urgency to maintain a legit life, “Prince J” united his street knowledge with his education and created his own label “Get Paid Mafia” along with a film company “Top of the World Productions”. He created a buzz on the Eastside of Atlanta and became known in Lithonia for doing music. writing scripts. producing videos and photography. Throughout his journey he has done shows all around the South East and works closely with Grammy Award Winning Producer “Drumma Boy Fresh”.  His biggest influences in music were 2Pac, Lil Boosie, Jay Z, and Pimp C. Maintaining consistency as the focal point, his music is strictly about the ins and outs of the streets. His history of street involvements are real happenstances that people can truly relate too. Utilizing his full potential in all aspects of life is the most important element of who he is.
