On the heels of making his major motion picture debut in the Eminem-produced Bodied, Dumbfoundead returns with a new moniker — Dummie — and project, Cafe Bleu.
“Café Bleu is an imaginary neighborhood spot where everyone is free to come hangout. Nobody needs to know your name or your history and you can figure out your next moves in life without judgement,” he explains. “With this being my 10th solo project, I feel like I’m in a place where I am free to make choices without having to worry about the reactions of those choices. It’s a very liberating feeling. As an artist, I am now more open to exploring television, film, screenwriting and more.”
A six-track effort, Dummie calls upon the assistance of Hippie Sabotage, Jose Rios, Palo Alto, Sweater Beats and others throughout. Stream it in its entirety below.
