André 3000‘s new album New Blue Sun has received a makeover from Aftermath producer Dem Jointz — and Snoop Dogg wants in on the action.
Jointz — who worked on Dr. Dre‘s Compton as well as songs with Kanye West, Eminem, ScHoolboy Q and more — posted a series of clips on Instagram on Monday (November 20) previewing a couple of remixes of 3 Stacks’ ambient flute music.
The first video hears him injecting some heavy funk-infused percussion and André 3000 ad-libs into the opening song, “I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a ‘Rap’ Album But This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time.”
