For those unaware, today (August 11) marks Hip Hop’s 49th Birthday. To celebrate the occasion in his own way, DJ Premier has shared a visual for his track “Remy Rap,” with Remy Ma and Rapsody.

The track is taken from his recent release, Hip Hop 50 Volume 1. A producer-focused series, the likes of Swizz Beatz, Mustard, The-Dream, Mike WiLL Made It, No I.D, Hit-Boy, Take a Daytrip, and Tainy will soon follow suit with their own EPs. Those producers have quite the task ahead of them to follow up Primo’s entry, however.
