No stranger to controversy in the world of DJing, Deadmau5 defends DJ KiddLuke, a YouTube internet phenomenon whose video titled "The Worst DJ Ever" has gotten over 200,000 hits, probably due to the fact that HE SUCKS and yet his cringeworthy performance is entertaining to watch (I guess).  While defending the amateur DJ, Deadmau5 replies in the comment section that "being a DJ isn't about skill - that concept got thrown out the window years ago". He made a similar statement over a year ago on his Tumblr in which he said that DJs are just glorified button pushers who just press play and that there's no skill to DJing, admitting that he's one of them while also calling out some of his EDM counterparts like Swedish House Mafia.  Because of technology like Ableton, it allows EDM artists like Deadmau5 to DJ without actually DJing.  Press play, let the technology do the mixing and bobble.  This got many in the DJ community up in arms, including turntablists like A-Trak & Z-Trip, and they weighed in on the conversation through Twitter and writing articles about the subject.  It seems that despite the dialogue that it sparked, Deadmau5 is still on that same rant.  See more of his responses below.  What do you think?
