Clear Channel's KMEL Fires ANOTHER Popular Bay Area DJ Mind Motion

Clear Channel has done it again. With the Bay Area still reeling from the recent unceremonious firing of on-air personality Chuy Gomez, it has been revealed that DJ Mind Motion, who has been with KMEL since 1996 has also been let go. In a recent interview on the Steve Masters Show at Live 105, Chuy Gomez explained the details of his own firing who was told by execs that they were "changing their format" before abruptly being let go. Although, Chuy suspects that it has more to do with money and KMEL not wanting to renew his contract. In the interview, he alluded to his longtime partner Mind Motion also being asked to leave. And now Chuy confirms on Twitter that that day has come. In addition, Mind Motion's page on KMEL has been removed. As the Bay loses another icon on KMEL, many fans on social media are expressing disappointment and are calling to boycott the station.
