Roughly a week into the global pandemic lockdown in 2020, Donald Glover — aka, Childish Gambino — released the project 3.15.20. While acclaimed critically, it left fans a bit perplexed due to its lack of true song titles (instead using timestamps) and readily accessible information on production and guest features.
Glover has now reissued that project, now titled Atavista. “This album is the finished version of 3.15.20, the album I put out 4 years ago,” he said on social media. “There’s a special vinyl coming soon with visuals for each song. The all-new Childish Gambino album comes out in the summer.”
