About “Wendell Tucker Hates the World” and Theori Stages

“Wendell Tucker Hates the World” is a very well-orchestrated rant about life; softened with comedy and rooted in the idea that mental wellness is an issue eroding away at the fabric of minority communities that has remained a taboo for far too long.”     This is the second offering from Tucker’s Theori Stages theatrical production company. Theori Stages was founded January 1, 2005 at Chicago State University, with the intent of educating and uplifting through Theatre from a Hip-Hop perspective. Since then, Theori Stages has pushed the boundaries of theater, offering unique productions that shine a spotlight on issues plaguing a new generation.
