It’s been over three years since Big Sean released an album (2020’s Detroit 2), but the gifted rapper is officially back in action.
Yesterday, Sean popped up on our timelines with a new verse over a J Dilla flip (by Boi-1da, Leon Thomas, and Jahaan Sweet) where he wasted no time getting to the point with lines like, “I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency/ I just haven’t had the energy to compete with my enemies or your so-called Bigger 3” (J. Cole, Kendrick, and Drake), before “talking to the old Sean” and running through the early days of his musical journey.
