After a three-year hiatus, Verzuz has finally returned to the stage. This time, at ComplexCon in Las Vegas with a legendary showdown between two of New Orleans’ most influential rap dynasties, Cash Money Records and No Limit Records. The event brought together the powerhouse rosters that defined an era of Southern hip-hop: Cash Money, founded by Birdman and Slim, which launched global stars like Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Mannie Fresh with its slick production and chart-topping sound; and No Limit, led by Master P, whose entrepreneurial spirit and prolific output built a self-made empire featuring Mystikal, Mia X, and Silkk the Shocker. Streaming live on Apple Music, Apple TV, and Complex's Instagram, the battle celebrated the hits, hustle, and historic impact of both labels that transformed New Orleans into a cornerstone of hip-hop culture.
