The event brought together the powerhouse rosters that defined an era of Southern hip-hop: Cash Money, founded by Birdman and Slim, which launched global stars like Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and Mannie Fresh with its slick production and chart-topping sound; and No Limit, led by Master P, whose entrepreneurial spirit and prolific output built a self-made empire featuring Mystikal, Mia X, and Silkk the Shocker.
