Nick Cannon must have been listening to “That’s What Friends Are For” the last couple days. Cannon came to the defense of his friend Kevin Hart who announced that he was withdrawing as host of the 2019 Academy Awards.
According to the “Wild N Out” creator, if the cancel culture came for Hart then there are other comedians that deserve the same treatment for there controversial remarks. Cannon posted old homophobic tweets from Sarah Silverman, Chelsea Handler, and Amy Schumer.
Nick Cannon is arguing that the culture of cancellation is selective in who it targets. But Cannon’s quest to hold everyone accountable for their tweets has caused some backlash as well.
