Event Description

Wrecking: witness the re-imagining of dance!
Saturday and Sunday March 7th and 8th, 2015
12-4 PM at the Joe Goode Annex, 401 Alabama Street, SF

Wrecking is choreographer Susan Rethorst's model for examining authorship,decision-making, and editing in dance. Two choreographers will present original works and two-three other choreographers will wreck or re-arrange the works. The entire process is open to the audience to witness. Wreckings take place between 12-3 PM. Come watch the process or come at 3 PM to watch the original work and wrecked versions of it.

Saturday March 7th features original work by Christy Funsch, wrecked by Rowena Richie, Megan Nicely, and Keith Hennessy. Sunday features original work by Mary Armentrout wrecked by Erin Mei-Ling Stuart and Julie Mayo (Brooklyn).
