Event Description

YOU asked for it - you GET IT!

The folks who bring you The Oakland Poetry Slam & Open-Mic and The Oasis Restaurant & Bar are thrilled to bring you the FUNNY! On Thursday December 16th you'll laugh out loud with with some of the Bay Area's top up and coming comedic talent. You'll guffaw til it hurts! You'll ROTFLYAO! AND if you treat yourself to Needa Bee's scrumptious culinary creations you may actually bust a gut! Confirmed COMICS for this show are Caitlin Gill, Jamie DeWolf, F.L.O. & Chris Storin

Oh yeah, you think you're funny too don't ya? You certainly look funny. Your friends say you're funny. People do laugh at you... or with you. Well, put that hairbrush (or whatever fake mic you have) down and stop telling jokes to the audience-of-one in the mirror. That's exactly what the Open-Mic is for! Come a little early and sign up if you think you've got what it takes to have folks rolling in the aisles.

Get your arse off the couch! Turn off the TV! Shut that computer down! and take yourself and someone you love, or at least like a little, to The Oasis for this first of it's kind show!
