Event Description

San Francisco Bay Area—March 5, 2014

On Saturday, March 22nd at Bruno’s in San Francisco, Party Corps will present Music for Good, the 10th in the series, featuring New York-based, The Kin in concert and in conversation with Global Glimpse, a nonprofit organization working to inspire a new generation of young Americans to become responsible global citizens.

Party Corps’ Music for Good parties features a curated conversation between top local and internationally known musicians and representatives from grassroots nonprofit organizations.  Music lovers in attendance are given rare insight into the issues their favorite artists are passionate about, while learning about and supporting the work of local, grassroots nonprofit organizations. "The Kin are artists with a global perspective and an infectious sound: we're thrilled that they'll be sharing their music and their experiences all to benefit a group bringing life changing opportunities to youth!” remarked Leila Monroe, Founder and Executive Director of Party Corps.

Fresh off US tour dates in support of Grammy-winner P!nk and weeks after their live performance on late night television show, Conan, The Kin are making a special stop in between dates in Sacramento and Santa Cruz to participate in Party Corps’ Music for Good party. “We are excited to come back to SF and The Mission area, where they have worked in the studio with local musicians and producers, 'The Rondo Brothers. 'We are looking forward to giving back to the local kids of the area with the help of Party Corps and Global Glimpse," Isaac said.  "We love to musically rob high schools and give kids something different to think about," Thorald added. "We look forward to growing our relationship with the charity."

Doors open at Bruno’s, located at 2389 Mission Street, at 7:00 pm, show starts at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $10 presale and can be purchased via Eventbrite here. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Global Glimpse.
