Event Description

It's about that time again. Join us this Saturday for The Foundation - bringing it back to where it all started, GOOD MUSIC.

DJ SHRED ONE
Brooklyn Circus | RRS Feed

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sheila Red aka Shred One was constantly surrounded and heavily influenced by music at a very young age as she tagged along with her vinyl collecting brothers and cousins. She moved to Brooklyn, NY in '98 where she began collecting her own records and fell in love with the art of deejaying, as well as learning the music industry game working at Rawkus Records and Blacksmith Management. She began spinning out when she moved back to Los Angeles in 2004 and rocked parties like the infamous Root Down and Soul Sessions. Now residing in SF, she has since played alongside cutting edge artists such as Daz-i-Kue, 45 King, Talib Kweli, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Spinna and more. She has also been touring a 3x4 set with her group RRS FEED with her partners DJs Roza & Raichous. You can find her spinning soul, hip hop, funk, disco, boogie, house, and more on Saturdays at Som Bar SF and Sweater Funk Sundays at Li Po Lounge.

Our foundation is built on good music. Good music has soul, substance, positivity and great energy - energy to move the masses. We play music to touch your senses. From sight, sound and touch - we try and bring a experience, not just a event. Sing, laugh, dance and build with people who are like-minded and open to new music, old music - good music. You, the people are the pillars of our foundation - we do this for you.

The Hated Crew to Release Highly Anticipated Album “DNA” June 5th

More than just another project, DNA represents the core identity of The Hated Crew—its influences, struggles, sound, and artistic vision woven together into one cohesive body of work. The title itself reflects the idea that music is embedded in the group’s very makeup. Every track explores the elements that form their musical “genetic code”: rhythm, storytelling,…See More

Cole Lumpkin Moves With the Music, Letting Life Shape Every Note

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation. Music for Lumpkin isn’t something you step into once everything is figured out. It’s something you carry with you, refine on the move, and allow to grow alongside real life. A self-taught…See More
