What: 2nd Annual SF Reggae Festival on the Fillmore

When: Saturday October 20th, 2012 starting at 12pm

Where: Fillmore Street beginning at O’Farrell

Celebrate Reggae music with local and national Reggae bands along with authentic food, arts, and crafts. Enjoy family activities and games for all ages in the children’s activity area. Purchase a wristband for entrance to after parties at several Fillmore Street Restaurants and Bars. Visit Gussie’s, Yoshi’s, Rasselas, and Westbay Auditorium for private shows and meet the artists after the festival. Sample Island inspired specials and cocktails continuing the celebration from 6pm until closing. VIP booths and tables with appetizers, bottle service, and 6 wristbands are available starting at $250 at participating venues.

 

San Francisco Reggae Festival is proud to present world-wide reggae artist Rankin Scroo, Irae Divine, and Haitian Idol winner T Rosemond with the Ital Souls as well as Bay Area artists Ancestree, Creation, and more in a free concert on Saturday October 20th, 2012 from 12pm-6pm. The festival will begin on Fillmore Street at O’Farrell at noon. After shows will extend to Gussie’s Chicken and Waffles, Yoshi’s, Rasselas, and West Bay Auditorium with Bottle Service,VIP Booths, and Wristbands available starting at $10 at Eventbrite.com.

12pm-6pm Free Outdoor Festival:

Performances by Rankin Scroo, Ital Souls, Ancestree, Irae Divine, Creations, DJ Mark Di Vita, DJ Henroc, local dance troops and more.  Authentic Jamaican food, Merchandise, Arts, and Craft will be sold as well as children’s activity area with games and jumpers.

6pm Gussie’s Chicken and Waffles (1521 Eddy St @ Fillmore St)

Outdoor seating and bar during and after the festival with $3 beers and $4 Cocktail Specials. Participate in an open mic at Sing-Along Saturdays with a live band and karaoke. Meet some of the festival bands while enjoying an island inspired buffet in the private dining room.

 

6pm West Bay Auditorium (1290 Fillmore St)

Performances by Rankin Scroo, Irae Divine, Ancestree, Creations, DJ Mark Di Vita, DJ Henroc, local dance troops and more. Dance floor and bars with indoor booths with authentic Jamaican food, Merchandise, Arts, and Crafts.

 

6:30pm Yoshi’s (1330 Fillmore St)

Private performance by Creation, featuring the soulful voice of Israel "Powerhouse" & Rahsul Culture Man, and the dynamic force of exhilarating dance music founded on African Roots of the Caribbean and West Indian Islands,  in the Jazz  Lounge. Full bar available and dinner menu available starting at 5pm.

 

6:30pm Rasselas (1534 Fillmore St)

Intimate private concert with the talented sounds of Haitian Idol winner T Rosemond and the Ital Souls while enjoying authentic Ethiopian Cuisine with a full bar.
