Masta Ace
Hip Hop legend Masta Ace is coming to San Francisco and gracing the stage at the local staple Piano Fight. With over 30 years strong in the industry Masta Ace has changed hip hop with his raw lyrics and potent story telling. Breaking into the industry with the 1988 classic "The Symphony" Ace has stayed a prominent figure in the culture while others have faded away. His work has placed him in the pantheon of rappers like Rakim, Sean Price, and KRS-One while inspiring the styles of fellow giants like Eminem. The seminal album drop "Disposable Arts" cemented his title as Masta and introduced him to a whole new demographic of listeners. If you have to go to one Hip Hop show this month do yourself a favor and come see Masta Ace prove the haters wrong and show that hip hop alive and well.
