On Sunday Feb. 14th, NYC's Subatomic Sound System will be rattling the bass bins at Dub Mission to celebrate the release of Blackboard Jungle Vol.1 & 2." With selector/musician EMCH on the dub controls and melodica will be two of the biggest, baddest voices on the mic, together in a combination style: NYC's guaranteed crowd-rocking singjay TREASURE DON, and special guest and west coast favorite, DJ COLLAGE aka Mista Chatman. This heavyweight east coast meets west coast match up blew the roof off a capacity crowd show in Brooklyn this past Halloween and we expect nothing less for their first time on stage together out on the west coast.

As a follow up to the Blackboard Jungle vinyl 12" & video documentary--a lethal collaboration between Grammy award -winning Jamaican dub pioneer Lee Scratch Perry, Vienna's dub masters Dubblestandart, and NYC sound killers Subatomic Sound System & Jahdan Blakkamoore--Subatomic Sound is back to present two new follow up digital releases: Blackboard Jungle Vol.1: Respect the Foundation (rootical dubstep vibes) and Volume 2: Respect My Sh*t (dark wobbly dubstep), featuring all new alternate versions of the seminal Blackboard Jungle track plus radio edits, dubs, and instrumental mixes that couldn't fit on the vinyl.
