On Thursday, June 30th, Leimert Park bred MC, DOM Kennedy comes to Slims in San Francisco as one of the hottest new rising stars in hip-hop. Kennedy’s June 30th performance will coincide with the release of his first full length album and the buzz surrounding the album is through the roof.
From the Paid Dues Festival to the Sneaker Pimps tour to South by Southwest to the House of Blues, Kennedy has been crushing stage shows consistently since the release of his debut recorded project in 2008, The 25th Hour.
In 2009, Kennedy released FutureStreet/DrugSounds and that mixtape catapulted Kennedy’s prominence as blogs, record labels and hip-hop fans all raved about the young independent rapper. Kennedy followed up with the release of Westside With Love in 2010 and The Original on March 11.
