Event Description

Join us on August 26, 2016 to help Break 4 Tots serve the community one break at a time. Since 2005 Break 4 Tots has produced Hip-hop events as a means to bring our communities together, provide a space for the Hip-hop community to give back, and to provide services to youth programs locally and globally.  

This year we are asking attendees to donate school suppies that will benefit schools and programs in the Bay Area and in the Philippines via Salupongan International.  

Proceeds beneift the Break 4 Tots Scholarship Fund. Break 4 Tots is awarding a scholarship to Hip-hop practitioners who are attending or will be attending college with the purpose of serving youth throuh Hip-hop arts.  

Salupongan International (SI) is a solidarity network of organizations, institutions and individuals dedicated to the unity and empowerment of marginalized rural communities in Southern Philippines through international solidarity, campaigns advocacy and basic social services.

Genreal admission: $5-$10 sliding scale 
$3 w/ school supply donation 
Youth 12 and under FREE
(All proceeds benefits East Side Arts Alliance and Break 4 Tots programs)

Room 1: Funk, Turf, & All-styles
-All-styles open cypher  
-Youth dance workshops 

Room 2: Turntablist Room (Hosted by Skratch Fight) 
-Scratch lessons for youth  
-Open turntables for the DJ's  
-Record swap

Room 3: The Breaks Outdoor Pagoda (Hosted by Neil Yuzon)  
-2 on 2 B-boy/girl Competition

Judges: 
Blakk (Cloud 9 Tribe/Renegade Rockers)
Power Serge (Beatz n Pieces/All The Way Live)
Profo (FloorGangz) 

-Cypher King/Queen Competition w/ The Gemstone Band  
B-boys and girls will be getting down to live breaks played by The Gemstone bande in one cypher while MC's take turns rocking the mic. One MC and one B-boy or girl will be awarded as King or Queen of the Cypher.  

Cash prize, trophy, gear and 2 tickets to Freestye Session World Finals 

-Live Aerosal Art + Community Mural Wall 

+Special guest appreances 
+Live performances in each room
+Community and youth organizations will be present 
+BBQ and refreshements
