2nd Annual LAKEFEST 09

LAKEFEST 09, is a two day street festival featuring Arts & Crafts booths, a live music stage featuring well known performers, Gourmet Food Booths, Lakeshore Merchant Sidewalk Sale, kid's fun zone, art, street performers, Skate Park, a Green Living Expo and the popular Grand Lake Farmers Market which draws thousands to the area (on Saturday ONLY).

About the Lakeshore Avenue Business District
The Lakeshore Ave shopping district is nestled between Piedmont,
Glenwood, Montclair, and Downtown Oakland. It is an extremely diverse
shopping area that appeals to all walks of life. The Grand Lake
Farmer’s Market draws thousands into the district every weekend.
Businesses on Lakeshore Ave include: Bank of America, Washington
Mutual, Wachovia, AT&T, Lakeshore Natural Foods store, Trader Joe’s,
Walgreens, Peet’s Coffee, Starbucks, as well as many other food
merchants, fine restaurants, art and gift shops and clothing stores.
