Pioneers of Hip-Hop: Step in the Arena | episode 2

The period spanning the late 80’s through the 90’s was the golden era of DJ battles. Friendly competition between DJs, crews and even coasts drove competitors to outdo each other for prizes and more importantly, props. The result was a big bang of new techniques, a culture surrounding DJ battles and a never before seen level of skill.
