Texas born, from humble beginnings in San Benito, TX Triple Play found himself faced with the perils of society growing up. Raised by his grandmother while his mother worked and attended school, he spent his youth in the streets surrounded by an abundance of drugs and questionable influences. In 1993 Triple Play relocated to Dallas, where his lifestyle continued a downward spiral. After dropping out of high school, it was the birth of his daughter in 1996 that got Triple Play off of the streets and working towards a better lifestyle.

Always fascinated by music with a dream of becoming an artist, Triple Play began working various low paying jobs, enrolled in college courses majoring in business and started focusing on his career. In 1999 Triple Play and his wife welcomed their son, and found further motivation for success in his family. It was at this point that Triple Play decided he wanted to become a business owner and began learning the ins-and-outs of the music business while fine-tuning his lyrical skills.

Triple Play has collaborated with artist Spyder (Goodfellas Records), Da Beast (D-Town Assasins), Big Boy (Thugside Records), Mr. Do It Big and Houston’s legendary Lucky Luciano. He’s appeared in shows throughout Texas including the King Of Tha Streets and the Texas Summer Car Show, as well as opened up for artist such as Trai'd, Trae The Truth, Chingo Bling, MC Magic, and DJ Kane.

In October 2008, Triple Play released his fist mixtape, Heart of a Hustla, Vol. 1. His music he says is a message that you can overcome all obstacles and rise to the top. Heart of a Hustla Mixtape Vol. 2 was released on Tuesday May 12th, 2009, he is trying to stay versatile with his music and keep it fresh and new. In February 2010 Triple Play released his third single “Arab Money” featuring Lucky Luciano from Houston, TX.

After a brief hiatus from the music scene he returned with his smash hit single ‘Smash That’ followed up by ‘Everythang Good’ ft. Lil’ Ronnie of DSR and released his debut album Heart of a Hustla which can be found on all online digital music stores and streaming services.

On May 5th, 2017 a day also known as Cinco De Mayo Triple Play released his second studio album titled The Awakening. A highly awaited album that has eighteen tracks, and fifty one minutes of non-stop banging music.

Triple Play has released his third highly awaited studio album titled ‘The Prodigal Son’. The album title signifies his rise from rock bottom after having taken a hiatus for several years and returning to the rap scene. He has consistently been putting out a new album every year since returning in 2016, and his latest release is sure to garner rave reviews, as each track is musically and tonally different, yet stays true to his style of laid back southern flow delivery on each track. This album is packed with street bangers, club bangers, and even features a song especially for the ladies.

Spotlight on Sapphira Cristál

“After Hours” is a fierce, high-fashion house anthem that drips with attitude, seduction, and runway energy. Opening with a spoken-word moment in a commanding deep voice reminiscent of Kevin Aviance or Right Said Fred, the track transforms into a dancefloor sermon of power and pleasure. With thumping beats, sultry vocals, and lines that shimmer with confidence (Steppin’ out in a 613 ... my look so puss, so clean’), Sapphira Cristál delivers a declaration of glamour and groove. Already building…See More
