Tampa-Based Veteran T.Musae Revives '90s R&B Vibes With New Single "Potion #9"

Blending soulful vocals and experimental production, T.Musae’s latest track introduces a bold sound with timeless appeal.

Tampa, FL  Soulful and experimental artist T.Musae makes waves with her new single, Potion #9. Known for her unique vocal style and fearless approach to music production, T.Musae blends '90s R&B nostalgia with modern influences, creating a sound that is both soothing and innovative. As an Army veteran and proud LGBTQ+ artist, she uses her music to tell authentic stories and push boundaries, cementing her place as a rising force in the industry.

The single Potion #9 highlights T.Musae’s signature style—sultry, smooth vocals layered over a rich, self-produced track. It also marks the lead-up to her highly anticipated debut album, slated for release in 2025. Her distinctive use of vocal effects and genre-blending production showcases her drive to be different while staying true to her roots.

T.Musae's journey to this point is one of resilience and passion. Beginning her musical journey at the age of five, she has been singing, dancing, and experimenting with sounds ever since. Despite being told "no" repeatedly due to her identity, her determination never faltered. Teaching herself how to produce and record music, she founded her own label, T.Musae Productionz, to ensure her voice and vision reached the world.

Inspired by the perfectionist techniques of Michael Jackson, T.Musae takes a meticulous approach to her craft. From her first song recorded in a high school friend's garage to setting up her own studio space to overcome shyness, her journey reflects her unwavering commitment to her art. Her passion for music stems from a deep love for its ability to connect and heal, and her voice offers a soothing yet commanding presence that leaves a lasting impression on listeners.

Through Potion #9 and her upcoming projects, T.Musae continues to experiment with new sounds, aiming to create a sonic experience unlike any other. Her unique approach to storytelling and her bold authenticity promise to resonate with fans across genres.

Stream Potion #9 now on all major platforms and stay tuned for updates on her debut album set to drop in 2025.
