New Video Release by London rapper / producer duo Phoenix da Icefire & Husky Brown "The Humans are Coming"
London rapper & producer duo Phoenix da Icefire and Husky Brown released their groundbreaking new album "Panacea" through New Dawn Records on May 5th
Nominated for "Best Independent Album" at this year's prestigious AIM Awards taking place on August 12th ( https://www.aimawards.co.uk/nominees ), Husky's rare fusion of hip hop, electro, bass, dub, soul and r&b is the soundtrack for Phoenix's highly creative narrative addressing many of today's most pressing issues including climate change, racism, well being, mental health, knife crime and social aspiration, all delivered with a refreshing and optimistic counterpoint of hope, healing and reconciliation.
The first video from the album "The Humans are Coming" released today. Filmed by Global Faction and UKHH, the spectacular visuals edited by Sovereign Comics represent the environmental theme portrayed as a metaphorical letter of contrition to the mythical Gaia for the damage done to her realm.
