The Profit Boys emerge from the fast living lifestyle of South Fla unto the southern hip hop scene like they belonged. Consisting of two members (Jride, Prennuss Kutta) the Profit Boys have changed the mind frame of southern hip hop renewing the idea of lyrical rap groups in the game. Being that the Profit Boys were both outstanding collegiate athletes along with a harsh upbringing, it has allowed them to tap into a wide range of life experiences to generate a sound like no other! The Profit Boys build their brand and foundation on passion independence, and originality! The group originated music for the old souls, the new souls, young folks, college students/athletes, the streets, strip clubs, father figures, single mothers and etc. The groups sound if an example could be given would be a twist between a young 8ball & MJG with a sprinkle of Outkast and a pinch of Field Mob, added to their own originality. Working with producers from all over the country, Prennuss Kutta and J Ride’s sound is like no other. Their debut album Players on Scholarship was totted to be one of the best group albums of 2013 by many Hip Hop heads throughout the industry. The album was led by the pop single Don't Wanna Fall produced by Gold Producer Double A, and a second single “Think About It” featured and was produced by platinum producer JayRock.
While continuing to grind their way to Hip Hop prominence, The Profit Boys have performed all over the south in just a years’ time with no current management or label ties. Club dates on South Beach, Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, South Carolina and even as far as Nassau Bahamas and San Juan Puerto Rico have been awaken by the Profit Boys live performance. After a long hiatus the group is ready to bring their sound back to the ears of its listeners.

Expect “100 Grand” to shake the room, newer records from The Summer Tape 2 to show up, and maybe a few unreleased cuts designed specifically for these Blueface crowds. Hiskey’s sets tend to move fast and hit hard, balancing party records with rawer street-leaning material. If past shows are a clue, this won’t be a low-key opener.See More
