1. Where are we talking from today?

Phoenix, AZ.

2. Where did you get your artist name from?

My grandmother gave me the nickname Dooley and I added KP being I am from the country and my label is Kountrysyde Records. The C in country was replaced by the K by a group member. The P stands for P.I.M.P which mean Practice Intelligence Mind and Prayer, put reversed Putting Money In Pockets

3. Music wise what are you working on right now? Are you currently promoting a single or album?

I have just released a new single entitled “Ignant” but also working on other material to be released in the future.

4. Who or what were the most significant influences on your musical life and career?

My brothers started me to do so, so I would say they influenced me. But my first performance was in the first grade and music has been in me ever since. So I would say all music has influenced me to some degree.

5. Who are your favorite musicians?

2Pac, Luke, 8ball & MJG, Outkast, UGK, TI, Eazy-E.

6. What have been the greatest challenges/frustrations of your career so far?

Trying to get to the next level. Just trying to create that buzz to get music known. Trying to book shows and tours.

7. As a musician, what is your definition of success?

Just doing what you love, being happy and living the life from it. Constant growth.

8. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Being able to do what you love.

9. What is your present state of mind?

Anxious and excited about the direction I am going and the new single.

10. What is your most treasured possession?

Don’t have anything as of yet.

11. What do you enjoy doing most?

Performing.

12. Where would you like to be in 10 years’ time?

Being a successful mogul helping others to achieve what I have.
