Dream Different Media Presents The Trailer For "The UMC's: Staten Island's Forgotten Sons"

The UMC's (Haas G and Kool Kim) along with Dream Different Media and Boo and Sarah Hartman Evens present the documentary trailer for "The UMC's: Staten Island's Forgotten Sons."

The iconic group emerged onto the music scene as the first rap group out of Staten Island. They were also the first rap group out of Staten Island to chart Billboard with two No.1 hits, as well as the first rap group out of Staten Island to appear and perform on Soultrain.

The trailer provides snippets on the group's come up and refreshes Hip Hop heads with the set of Martin where the poster-size album cover of 'Fruits of Nature' is hung. Interview excerpts from will.i.am and Kanye West mention the influential impact The UMC's had on their careers and in Hip Hop, past and present.

Watch the trailer and stay tuned for the upcoming documentary of "The UMC's: Staten Island's Forgotten Sons."
