- Bio:
- Bay Area-based producer Scott Dough (aka "No Dough Dub") was first introduced to dancehall via legendary DJ Clint O'Neill (WLRN Miami, FL). Dough describes himself as "an old-school dancehall junglist" but cites Lee Scratch Perry, Thievery Corporation and Kruder & Dorfmeister as his main influences, along with the Grateful Dead and Bad Brains as also having shaped his early soundscapes. In addition to being a seasoned session bass guitar talent in-studio, Dough has been tracked playing marimba along with production credits for composing & performing trombone and trumpet arrangements for several cross-genre endeavors in NYC, NJ and the Bay Area.
NoDough Dub is currently the resident DJ each Wednesday at Underground SF in the Haight (best known for its long-running DnB party, 'Shelter').
