- Northern California’s very own hip-hop/reggae fusion group SouLifted have been turning heads since the release of their debut full-length album "Higher". The Sacramento based group seamlessly blends classic hip-hop sounds with reggae, jazz and soul embellishments. The result is a unique sound that all walks of life can enjoy. It is music from the Earth for the people—a natural reaction to the world we all live in and the things that influence our lives everyday. SouLifted always delivers a high energy live set that is sure to entertain all music lovers no matter what age or background.
SouLifted has shared the stage with legends and
up and coming stars of many different music genres
including reggae/dancehall artists like Burning Spear
Collie Buddz, Prezident Brown, General Smiley,
Pato Banton, and Soul Medic;
Hip Hop artists including Blackalicious, Living Legends, Lyrics Born, and many more.
SouLifted and its group members have also performed in many different venues from College campuses to clubs and music festivals of all kinds including: The NW World Reggae Festival, Bobolink Music Festival,
Sierra Nevada World Music Fest, Mt. Shasta and
Cisco Grove Renegade Festivals, One Root World Festival, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Sacramento Unity Festival, Best Of The Bay Reggae Festival, and many more.
