Profile Information

Bio:
When a band’s name is SEX WITH NO HANDS, you know they mean business. These pioneers of accordion-funk merge Rock, R&B, and Polka into a high-energy dance party of original songs and crowd favorites.

SEX WITH NO HANDS features two amplified accordions and a vintage 80s keytar. Every member of the six-piece band sings and doubles on horns. Playing a wide range of genres, SEX WITH NO HANDS performances can last all night. Audiences love the group's stage antics, outlandish costumes, and choreographed laser light show.

Squeeze It, the band's debut release, highlights the versatility of amplified accordions. Playing the funkiest new music straight from 1979, the songs on Squeeze It evoke the good-time feeling of the era with talkbox solos, digital handclaps, and whispered sweet nothings last heard in the bushes outside your senior prom.

SEX WITH NO HANDS is based in San Francisco and routinely fills the city's venues to capacity. Touring the U.S. since 2007, SEX WITH NO HANDS is on a mission to push the accordion to its musical limits. With new, physically demanding playing techniques, SEX WITH NO HANDS plays the party instrument of the Old Country and the party songs of today.

Cole Lumpkin Moves With the Music, Letting Life Shape Every Note

Cole Lumpkin doesn’t create from a distance. He creates from inside the moment. As a New York City native, his artistry reflects motion, curiosity, and constant self-interrogation. Music for Lumpkin isn’t something you step into once everything is figured out. It’s something you carry with you, refine on the move, and allow to grow alongside real life. A self-taught…See More

Prentice Grant: From Vauxhall to Legacy — The Rise of an Independent Hip-Hop Force

The first time Prentice Grant realized music could change his life, he was just a kid in Vauxhall, New Jersey, staring at the TV. Two kids not much older than him were on the screen — backwards clothes, fearless energy, commanding the world. It was Kris Kross performing “Jump.”And in that moment, something clicked. It wasn’t just the beat.It wasn’t just the crowd. It was the power. From that day forward, Prentice didn’t just listen to hip-hop — he became it.He sharpened his pen studying legends.…See More
