Imagine living 100 years in the future. What are sights, what
are the sounds? What would your wildest dreams look
and sound like if they were made manifest? 100 years
into the future ….. without a diabolical world
war or a gloried messiah's return. What if humanity
got it all together and technology actually led us
into an evolved state of consciousness.
Everything was all good and
life was a never ending party. What would the
music sound like? Perhaps syncopated
melodies infused with high frequency metallic
guitar riffs, alongside deeply soulful and energetic
ambient compositions. But all hip-hop amplified to
uncharted waters of sound. Here's the kicker it's not
the future even though it sounds like it. It may
be the time machine that scientists have been
trying to create for hundreds of years, but took
a musical genius to deliver this vehicle to us all.

his album: Big Tunes Big Dreams
a musical tapestry of genres ranging from soul to
electronica to boom bap hip-hop. And not a weak
attempt either, but rather a nostalgic blender of albums
like Prince's Controversy and Outkast's Stankonia
with sound's reminiscent of Massive Attack's Blue Flames
and Sweetback. Nonetheless, Big Tunes Big Dreams is more
than a musical masterpiece, it more than word's
could describe, it's more quality music for your money.
More albums should be made like this.

The distinctive voice in the UK House Hit “In the Churches” has completed her debut album, “This Too Shall Pass”. She has come a long way from her work with the legendary Gregory Del Piero, now taking the lead as producer. Composing and arranging all of the songs on the album are a fulfillment of her wildest dreams, “I sing because I’m free. And I believe everyone should get free and embrace who they really are”.
Redefining the word "remix", Mariaelena "Ri Ri" Garcia is a renaissance woman indeed. A vocalist, lyricist, drummer, producer and DJ, Ms. Garcia's multi-talents have taken her to many stages. She has gone from poetry slams at college and university venues to headlining the preeminent funk sensational Detroit Funk band, “Soul Power Experience Unlimited”. Within months after relocating to the San Francisco Bay area, she was performing at some of the most coveted venues, including, San Francisco Gay Pride, The House of Stormz and San Francisco’s Girl Fest-all while completing a promotional tour to the Midwest.
As a child of the church, her live vocal performances embody the spiritual energy of what soul music is meant to be. The more she performs live, the more the buzz around her grows. There are no rules, but professionalism is always first in mind.
Working as a professional DJ since 1997, she has played for thousands at such places as the legendary Nectarine Ballroom (now called The Necto) in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the 2006 San Francisco Gay Pride Celebration and currently holds multiple residencies in the Bay Area. Truly mastering the technique of "Reading the Crowd", earning the moniker, "Rimarkable", her style can range from everything to Dusty Grooves, New Wave, Deep House, even Polka, and to the dirtiest Hip-Hop. "If it's got a beat, I WILL make you dance", she says.
As a certified "Beat Junkie", Ms. Garcia, a self-taught-drummer, mentored by some of the industries finest, is the current "drummer-on hiatus" in the Detroit-based, underground Punk Rock band, "Retard Floor-Hockey". With a background in funk and rock drumming styles, she is presently in the classroom, studying jazz technique. Her talents have been tapped by some of the worlds up and coming musicians from all realms of music and she is happy to lend her services. “I find good energy in collaboration, when I am able to say, ‘music bought us together, let’s dance’, I know I’ve done well.”
Ri Ri Garcia’s debut recording, “This Too Shall Pass” proves to be a classic. It features the underground smash hit, "Get In" and is what she calls, AhFroSouLatinGODspellfunK. The recording promises fans a stunning introduction into the mind of an independent, take-no-prisoners female artist poised to make her mark. "I sing because I'm free. I select the tracks to satisfy your feet and your soul. I drum because I have to. I speak words in rhythm because it is the right thing to do. You listen because it sounds nice. I was recently searching for my heart. I realized it hadn't left. Everything was found in you, my reflection. Music brought us together...Let's dance."
