Devi Genuone

During her lifetime journey through rhythm & bass, she has played alongside both the old masters and the pioneers of cutting-edge sounds. As a percussionist and vocalist, she has absorbed many traditions of groove and has transformed her sound into a Ragga Dirty South Jazz style all her own. She is truly a Jazz musician at heart, and approaches playing music with a freestyle attitude in a structured poetic pocket. Her lyrics are uplifting and her melodies are contagious. Her work often includes vocal skat, conscious rapping & ragga bootyshake emceeing. At times you can catch her on both vocals and blending conga or pounding out 808 basslines on the handSonic.

She is releasing collaborations covering many genres and putting her vocal sound on the map. Her drumming work can already be found on countless studio tracks and live DJ sets, spicing up an entire spectrum of experimental, downtempo, house, techno, jazz, hip-hop, drum & bass, glitch & dubbed out beats with her fiery rhythmic flavor.
