- DLabrie came up during the golden age of Hip Hop in Oakland,California witnessing the historical West Coast rap dominance of the early 90's up close and personal. Picking up on the "Independent" ways of his home town, DLabrie began distributing his own music in 2001 in Japan, going on to push over 85,000 plus units all over the map through his imprint RonDavoux Records, Champion of simply complex wordplay, diverse, relevant and humorous subject matter, DLabrie has built from the bottom grassroots level cyphers & open mics to club/radio play to being featured on MTV,CNN,NBC as well as Various National /International Tours. As a community leader with Hip Hop Congress, he has traveled all over the world using Hip Hop as a vehicle also to organize artists, activists, educators, and youth to better our communities. Lately DLabrie has been gaining even more attention with his new single, tour & short film IT AINT EZ ft. San Quinn from his debut album MR NETW3RK which also includes collaborations with M1 of dead prez, Mistah F.A.B, Akil of Jurassic 5, The Jacka, Zion-I & More.
