- Ren Barrera started his DJ career in 1995 and was first introduced into the DJ world by his cousin Brian Barrera of (Spindication Style DJs).He bought his first set of Turntables from the Flea market (2 SANYO’s and a Radio Shack mixer).Crate digging at places like Knight sounds, Amoeba Records, Star Records and Rasputin`s.
He came from a family of musicians/DJ`s, his mother, a singer whom was featured on KTSF San Francisco TV 26 on Pinoy Parin and has various singles and albums.In 2009,he joined Beat Farm Entertainment.Ren has appeared at various nightclubs,Private Events and House parties all around the Bay Area.Also special appearances as a Guest DJ on Salinas 102.5 KDON,92.7 THE REV,104.3 NOW AND 97.7 KRCK.
